Planning Process

The planning application for the Mumblin Wind Farm has been lodged with the Minister for Planning and is now under consideration. The application will be assessed against the provisions of the Corangamite Planning Scheme and the Policy and Planning Guidelines for the Development of Wind Energy Facilities in Victoria, which set standards and limits covering the following:

  • Landscape Impact.
  • Shadow flicker.
  • Impact to Flora and Fauna.
  • Sound compliance.
  • Impact to Cultural Heritage.
  • Electromagnetic Interference.

If you wish to read the planning application report or one of the supporting assessments you can now download them via the links below. Please note that we are still in the process of finalising the environmental and engineering assessments that will ultimately determine the final design of the proposed wind farm, and as such the documents available for download below are not final and will be subject to change. Once the outstanding environmental and engineering assessments are complete, and the design of the wind farm consequently finalised, we will upload updated versions of these reports to the links below.
