Information Sessions

Throughout October we will be holding information sessions about the proposed Mumblin Wind Farm. These information sessions will provide attendees with an opportunity to find out more about the project, as well as ask questions directly of RE Future representatives.

Venue

  • Terang Civic Hall – 131 High Street, Terang VIC 3264.

Dates and Times

  • Tuesday, 21 October 2025 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm; and
  • Monday, 27 October 2025 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.

Please note that if there is sufficient interest, we will happily organise further sessions in the coming months, or at an alternative time to those proposed.

Session Themes

The upcoming information sessions will be attended by representatives of the ecological and acoustic consulting firms that performed assessments of the proposed wind farm. In particular, a representative of Ecology and Heritage Partners, who completed the Ecological Assessment, will be in attendance at the session held on Tuesday 21 October, while a representative of Marshall Day, who completed the predictive noise assessment, will be in attendance at the session held on Monday 27 October. Accordingly, should you wish to find out more information about one of these topics in particular, please register for the session at which the relevant subject matter expert will be in attendance.

Session Format

Our plan is to start with a short presentation about the wind farm followed by a question-and-answer session afterwards. However, we will be flexible if those present wish to discuss a particular topic at length or wish to skip straight to questions and answers. Please note that the maximum group size will be ten participants per timeslot—this small group setting will allow for a more detailed discussion and personalised attention to your questions.

So that we can tailor the session to your specific interests, please submit any questions or topics you’d like us to cover when you register. Light refreshments will be provided so please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
